Terrorist killed in ongoing Kishtwar encounter: Army | KNO

Kishtwar, Feb 04 (KNO): A terrorist was killed in an ongoing encounter between terrorists and joint security forces in Kishtwar district on Wednesday, the Army said. The Army’s White Knight Corps, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), said that contact was re-established with the hiding terrorists during a joint operation in the Dichhar area of Kishtwar. “In the continuing search and elimination of terrorists in the Kishtwar region, where the hunt has already led to several contacts in dense forests and challenging terrain, contact was re-established with the terrorists on the run in the ongoing joint Operation Trashi-I by troops of CIF Delta, White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF at around 5:45 pm today in the general area of Dichhar, Kishtwar,” the post reads, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
